Common Signs of an Abusive Relationship

Did you know that there are many different people around the world that are currently in an abusive relationship with someone who is in need of psychological assistance? You should know how to spot the common signs of someone that is in an abusive relationship. In all actuality you may not believe it but your close friend, sibling, co-worker or even your child may be in an abusive relationship. You should be able to spot the signs of an abusive relationship so that you can get help for them.

First we believe you should know that there are different types of abuse out there. There's physical abuse, verbal abuse and there is also sexual abuse. Physical abuse involves hitting and hurting the victim. Verbal abuse means using derogatory statements towards the one you are with and then sexual abuse involved a number of different types of sexual force on a spouse, child or girlfriend.

You should know that all types of abuse can be fatal so if the abuse keeps going on it can lead to something even worse which is why you should always know the signs of someone who is abused. We know sometimes it can be hard when it comes to symptoms of abuse because we never want to accuse the innocent but it is better safe than sorry. You will see that an individual who has been abused is timid or mild. You will also find that he individual being abused lacks friends. You should also know that it is common for an individual who is being abused to not have any contact with others and they will avoid it.


When it comes to someone who has been abused they will not go out in public to have fun. Someone who has been abused will appear to have bruises a number of different times and they will make up an excuse like they fell or they hit a door on accident. You will see that the one being abused will appear tired and depressed. Remember that someone who is being abused can not always help themselves so it is left up to you to help them.
